Welcome to KrypAcademix. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KrypAcademix mobile application, website, and backend services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering for, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
1. Platform Purpose and Scope
KrypAcademix is a B2B2C Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed to digitize and manage school operations, including attendance, academics, communications, safety, and payments. The Platform is provided to you by your educational institution ("School").
2. User Accounts and Security
* Registration: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Misrepresenting your identity, role, or affiliation with the School is strictly prohibited.
* Approval: Registration on the app does not guarantee immediate access. All accounts must be verified and approved by the School's administration.
* Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. We strongly recommend enabling the App Lock (Biometrics/PIN) feature available in the app settings. You must immediately notify the School of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Platform courteously and lawfully. You shall not:
* Submit false operational data (e.g., faking attendance, submitting fraudulent UPI UTR numbers, or manipulating asset registries).
* Abuse the Communication Engine or Anonymous Safety Report by submitting spam, harassment, defamatory content, or malicious reports.
* Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or breach the security of the Platform.
* Use the Platform to scrape, data-mine, or extract personal information of other users.
4. Payments and Fees
The Platform facilitates fee tracking by allowing parents to log Unique Transaction Reference (UTR) numbers generated by native UPI applications.
* KrypAcademix is NOT a Payment Gateway. We do not process, hold, or transfer funds. All transactions are strictly peer-to-merchant (P2M) directly between you and your School's bank account.
* Reconciliation: Submitting a UTR on the Platform changes your fee status to "Pending Verification". The payment is only considered successful once the School's finance department manually or automatically verifies the funds.
* Disputes: Any disputes regarding payment failures, refunds, or incorrect fee amounts must be resolved directly with the School.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, design, text, graphics, logos, and algorithms comprising the KrypAcademix Platform are the exclusive property of Krypzon (the Developer). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app for its intended educational and operational purposes.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, Krypzon makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the continuous availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Platform.
* We do not guarantee that push notifications (e.g., Bus Delay Alerts or PTM Reminders) will be delivered instantly, as delivery depends on external cellular networks and device battery settings.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krypzon and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
* School Decisions: Krypzon is not responsible for any administrative, academic, or disciplinary actions taken by the School based on data generated or managed through the Platform.
8. Termination
Your access to the Platform is contingent upon your ongoing affiliation with the School. The School or KrypAcademix reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or if your affiliation with the School ends.
9. Modifications to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Platform's announcement feed. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where Krypzon is registered.
