Answers to common questions about KrypAcademix onboarding, academics, fees, safety, permissions and support.

Getting Started

How do I log in to KrypAcademix for the first time?

To access your school's workspace, you need three things: your unique School Code, your registered Email Address, and your Password. If you are a new user, tap on "Register", enter your School Code, and fill out your details. Once your school administrator approves your request, you will be able to log in.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?". Enter the email address associated with your account, and we will send you a secure link to reset your password. If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, please check your spam folder.

Why is my account status showing as "Pending"?

For security reasons, all new registrations (Parents, Teachers, and Students) must be verified by the school administration before access is granted. This process usually takes 24-48 hours. You will receive an email notification once your account is approved.

Academics & Daily Routine

How do I check my child's homework?

Navigate to the Homework Diary module from your dashboard. Here, you will see a chronological list of assignments, including voice notes from the teacher, due dates, and completion status.

As a teacher, how do I mark daily attendance?

Open the Attendance module. Select your assigned Class and Section. You will see a list of your students. You can quickly mark all as "Present" and then individually tap to change specific students to "Absent" or "Late". Don't forget to tap "Save workflow" at the bottom!

How does the PTM (Parent-Teacher Meeting) booking work?

When the school opens a PTM window, parents will see an alert in their Communication Feed. Open the PTM Booking module, select the teacher you wish to meet, and choose an available time slot. You will receive an automated reminder on the day of the meeting.

Fees & Payments

How do I pay school fees through the app?

KrypAcademix supports seamless UPI payments. Go to the Fees & Payments module to view your pending dues. Tap on a due item to open your phone's native UPI app (like GPay, PhonePe, or Paytm). Once the payment is successful, enter the 12-digit UTR (Reference Number) back into the app.

My fee payment is showing as "Pending Verification". What does this mean?

When you submit a UTR number, it is sent to the school's accounts department. They will cross-check the UTR against their bank ledger. Once they confirm the receipt of funds, your status will automatically update to "Verified and Paid".

Safety & Security

What is the Anonymous Safety Report?

The Safety Report module allows students, parents, or staff to report bullying, infrastructure hazards, or other concerns directly to the Principal and Counselors. If you choose the anonymous option, your identity, email, and phone number are completely hidden from the school administration.

How does the Digital Gate Pass work?

If you are visiting the campus or picking up a student early, the security desk will generate a Digital Gate Pass for you. You will receive a secure QR code on your app, which you must scan at the exit gate to leave the premises.

Why does the app ask for my Location and Camera permissions?

Location: Used exclusively for Staff Geofenced Attendance (to ensure check-ins happen within the campus) and for live School Bus tracking. Camera: Used for scanning Asset QR codes, validating Visitor Passes, and attaching photos to Home Visit reports. We never record without your explicit action.

Support & Troubleshooting

The app is running slow or not loading new data.

Please try the following steps: 1. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. 2. Pull down on your dashboard to force a manual refresh. 3. Close the app completely and reopen it. If the issue persists, open the app drawer, navigate to "Help & Support", and submit a Support Ticket.

I am seeing the wrong class or role on my dashboard.

Your role and class assignments are mapped by the school's administration. Please contact your school's IT desk or use the "Contact Form" in the Help & Support menu to request a profile correction.
